Teriyaki Chicken Marinade recipe
Today, I would like to write about Chicken Marinade Recipe. It’s very simple and the result was amazing so I wanted to share it here. You make marinade then freeze. One day before cooking the chicken, you defrost in the fridge so the chicken will slowly absorb the marinade and it becomes very tasty and tender. Before, I used to marinade chicken for a few hours before cooking in a fridge but the marinaded chicken in the freezer which was defrosted in a fridge overnight comes more tender and tastier.
You can also make marinade for 2 meals and put the half in the fridge for 1/2 day before cooking, and for the rest of it you freeze it. This way, you can save your time to prepare two meals 🙂
I like to cut Chicken into pieces so I can stir fry with vegetables too.
Here is the marinade recipe: No need to buy Teriyaki sauce anymore 😉
4 pieces of Chicken breast cut into slices
Light Soy sauce: 80ml
Sake or White wine: 80ml
Honey or sugar: 6 table spoons
Grated ginger – 1 table spoon
Grated garlic – 1 clove
Chopped spring onion – 1
Sesami oil – 1 table spoon
Pinch of Salt and pepper to massage the chicken before adding the marinade
The picture is Teriyaki Marinaded chicken with green beans and mushroom 🙂
It’s not Japanese but I like to do Tandoori style marinade too. This time I used this marinade on the 8 chicken drumsticks.
