Handamde Kimono Scarf Wool | Komainu

This scarf is made from authentic Japanese Kimono.

It has a dark blue with a unique pattern of Komainu.

Komainu are guardian dogs’ statues that are placed in pairs in front of worship halls and at key points along the approach to the shrine. A guardian dog standing still with a brave expression has the meaning of exorcising evil spirits and protecting the shrine.

The material is wool and it has two layers.

The back side also is a Kimono material with a dotted pattern in brown.
