Handmade Kimono Silk Scarf | Gosho Guruma

This is a handmade Silk Scarf made from an authentic Kimono specifically 振袖 Furisode.

Furisode is a style of kimono distinguishable by its long sleeves and they are worn on a special occasion such as ‘Coming of Age ceremony’ or wedding (married women do not wear Furisode).

Therefore the design is more gorgeous and appealing than the narrow silk scarf.

Every scarf is very unique and double sided.

This scarf’s highlight would be the Gosho Guruma (御所車) – an imperial cart and the different flowers such as Plum blossoms, peonies, chrysanthemums and Chinese bellflowers are surrounding it.

The designs are all outlined in gold and it looks very gorgeous!

The backside is wine red and has a woven pattern.
