This is a handmade Silk Scarf made from an authentic Kimono specifically 振袖 Furisode.

Furisode is a style of kimono distinguishable by its long sleeves and they are worn on a special occasion such as ‘Coming of Age ceremony’ or wedding (married women do not wear Furisode).

Therefore the design is more gorgeous and appealing than the narrow silk scarf.

Every scarf is very unique and double sided.

This scarf has a cream colour featuring a pattern of different flowers, pine trees, Taiko (drums) in different colours and the back side has a beautiful violet colour with a woven pattern.
