Kanzashi Hair Stick Temari Sakura

Kanzashi (簪) are hair ornaments used in traditional Japanese hairstyles.

Temari means ‘hand ball’ in Japanese.  It is a folk art form and a Japanese craft. They used to be toys for girls in the olden times.

These Kanzashi were designed to look like Temari.  The ball is transparent with painted Sakura (cherry blossoms).

The size of stick: 15cm

The size of Temari (ball): approx. 1.2cm
