This beer cup has the name ‘Ekubo’ which means ‘dimple’ in Japanese.
The front part is dented so that you can fit in your thumb comfortably.

This beer cup is made by 多屋嘉朗 Taya Yoshiro.
He graduated from the Department of Ceramics, Faculty of Fine Arts, Seika University 1993.
He learned under Araki Yoshitaka for 4 years and established a kiln in Uji and he has exhibited his works many times since then.
At the back of the cup, there is a stamp.
