About the Artist

Yagi Kaihou is an esteemed Kyoto craftsman recognized for his refined ceramic painting:

• He performed a live demonstration before Her Majesty the Empress in 1968.
• In 1993, he exhibited and demonstrated his Kiyomizu-ware techniques in Paris.
• Certified as a traditional craftsman in 2003, Yagi Kaihou continues to elevate Japanese ceramic arts.
