The materials are thin, made of cotton and have unique patterns.
You might have seen that Japanese men wear it around their head or neck to wipe their sweat during the summer too.
Tenugui have a lot of cultural history so make great gifts and souvenirs.
This is a reasonable Tenugui towels with pigment print.
‘Komon 小紋’ means ‘small pattern’.

I recently got this item as a gift, and perhaps it wouldn’t have been the first item in this shop that I picked up but I am so pleased with it!
The print is so cute, and the fact that it’s a resist/negative so the majority of the towel is one block colour makes it even better.
Fabric feels nice and the quality is evident.
My only issue is whether to carry it with me daily or keep it safe at home, so I may need to buy more
