The arabesque pattern shows how the vines are intertwined by combining multiple curves and swirl patterns.

Handmade in Kyoto

This product is handmade by many Japanese craftsmen; a traditional dye shop and craftsmen with high sewing skills.

Manufactured with their original textiles with motifs such as traditional Japanese patterns, seasonal flowers, and cute animals.

Durable Textiles

Durable textiles called Hampu 帆布 is used for the outer and Katsuragi カツラギ is used for the lining of these bags.

Hampu textiles: In addition to a strong weave called 平織 Hira-ori (plain weave), in which warp threads and weft threads are alternately crossed one by one, multiple threads are twisted and woven.

Katsuragi textiles: Although they are still very durable, they are softer and thinner textiles than Hampu textiles.  It is made of 綾織 Aya-ori (twill) with a weave in which the intersections of warp and weft are lined up diagonally.
