How to warm Sake

Warming sake enhances its aroma, brings out its natural sweetness, and deepens its umami flavor, creating a smoother, more mellow taste.

For the perfect Atsukan (熱燗) – warm sake at 50°C, follow these simple steps:

1. Heat water to 80°C in a pot deep enough to submerge the sake bottle up to its neck.
2. Place the sake bottle in the hot water and let it warm for about 2 minutes.
3. Remove, pour, and enjoy the rich, comforting flavors of warm sake!
