Sushi Yunomi cup | Aka Fuji

寿司湯呑 Sushi Yunomi Tea cup is  ‘a cup that enriches food’ created by “Sushiya Hanaya Yohei”, which was established in the 1800s serving Sushi.

If you visited Sushi restaurant in Japan, you might remember having free green tea in Sushi Yunomi cup.

The shape is cylindrical, deep and thick.

This Sushi Yunomi cup features Red Mount. Fuji.

Mount. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan and Red Fuji is very rare to see (maybe once a year).

Therefore it is considered as a prosperous motif.

At the bottom of  the mountain on the tea cup, there is a small detail added to the simple cup (4th photo).

This is a product of Mino ware.
