This elegant vintage Japanese lacquer-style bowl, complete with a matching lid, is traditionally used for serving soup.
The set of five was discovered carefully stored in a box, suggesting its origin from the Showa period (1926-1989).
While the box is no longer available, the bowls themselves remain in pristine condition, showing no signs of wear and likely either unused or used only a few times.
The bowl is adorned in a rich, traditional red, featuring a striking design of leaves.
One leaf is black with delicate gold tracings, while the other gleams entirely in gold, adding a sophisticated touch to this timeless piece of Japanese craftsmanship.
