I would like to share what we are doing at home to protect us from Covid-19.
I think each person has to make efforts to prevent it in order to stop spreading further.
- Wash hands often with soap and warm water – washing hands with soap and rinse and you do the same twice is more effective than washing longer span just once
- Try not to touch mouth, eyes and nose. – It’s not easy for me no to touch eyes because I wear contact lenses. I should wear glasses instead!
- Gargle the mouth with salty water after coming from outside – I’m leaving mugs and some salt in a container in our bathrooms to avoid going to the kitchen to prepare it.4. Drink healthy hot drinks more often – apart from our green tea, we make hot drink with fresh grated ginger (organic ginger is important in Malta) with lemon and honey too.
5. Stay away from junk food – I love savoury snacks but I am managing not to touch crisps for some time now and replacing it with home made kale chips and pickles

6. Eat as many vegetables as possible in one day – We try to eat around 10 kinds of vegetables and 3-5 kinds of fruits a day
